The ship adopts advanced dual-fuel propulsion technology and features cutting-edge green equipment such as an energy-efficient main engine and a Boil-Off Gas (BOG) recondenser, enhancing fuel efficiency and emissions reductions in compliance with the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) latest environmental regulations.

Taicang has been a growing hub for automobile exports. Since it began operating in December 2024, the Haitong International Automotive Terminal, the largest roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) port in the Yangtze River Delta region, has exported 212,000 domestically manufactured vehicles. This year, 75 ro-ro vessels set sail from the terminal to 14 countries and regions across the globe, including 11 under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

In the first quarter of this year, Taicang Port exported 147,600 vehicles, up 18.35 percent compared to the same period last year, among which 58,500 were bound for BRI countries, a year-on-year increase of 3.06 percent.
