IM PARK in Taicang is nurturing and empowering emerging tech-innovation enterprises through rent incentives, industry-academia collaboration, and technology matchmaking, acheiving fruitful results.

Suzhou Polar Coordinate Precision Instrument Co, a technology-driven enterprise that specializes in high-end rotary platforms, set up operations in IM PARK at the end of 2022. This year, its sales are projected to soar by over 30 percent, thanks to the park's support.

IM PARK waived its rental fees, saving the company 100,000 yuan ($13,788.24) annually, and launched a collaboration with the Harbin Institute of Technology to tackle research challenges in the ultra-precision processing of air bearing rotary tables' micro-structures.

Jiangsu Celand Hydrogen Energy Technology Co, which develops proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cell stacks, also benefited from IM PARK.

In addition to free rent, the park helped with technology matchmaking. The company partnered with low-altitude enterprises in Taicang to speed up the commercial use of hydrogen fuel cell technology in small aircraft. Their first cooperative model is set for ground tests by the end of 2026.

To date, IM PARK has attracted over 50 scientific and technological enterprises in intelligent manufacturing, new energy, new materials, electronic information, and more. More than 30 of them have been recognized as Taicang Leading Talent, while nine have been honored as Gusu Leading Talent. The park has also been accredited as a Suzhou municipal-level incubator.
