Taicang heavy truck developer powers NEV industry
The autonomous new energy heavy-duty trucks developed by ZERON, a Taicang-based company, are leading the industry with their intelligent driving technology, outstanding performance, energy efficiency, and low operating costs.
In May 2024, ZERON launched its two vehicle platforms — "Jingzhe" and "Xiaoman", which excel in electricity consumption per kilometer, power performance, and range retention (especially in winter).

"Taicang's location near Shanghai and abundant industrial talent, as well as the strong work ethic of its people, were key factors in our decision to establish our base here," said Huang Zehua, founder of ZERON.
In recent years, Taicang has prioritized the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry as a strategic focus for future development, striving to build an industrial cluster worth 100 billion yuan ($13.82 billion).
Last year, its core NEV component industrial cluster was recognized as a provincial-level specialized industrial cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
