A senior executive from Brose Group, a renowned German automotive parts manufacturer, recently visited Taicang in a show of gratitude for the city's support and services.

Taicang's meticulous services have made it a preferred investment destination and a vibrant hub for German enterprises. Consequently, Brose Group has expanded its investment in Taicang since 2014 and established three branches for car doors, seats, and electric drives in the city. Taicang is currently the group's largest manufacturing base in the Asia-Pacific region.

This year, as a key hub for Sino-German cooperation, Taicang will continue to enhance its openness and refine its "1+7+1" liaison network in Germany, reinforcing ties in southern Germany, expanding into the north, encompassing all German-speaking regions, and broadening cooperation across Europe.

To attract more German enterprises known as "invisible champions", "little giants", and industry leaders, the city aims to introduce 20 new German-funded projects, increase investment in over 15 existing ones, and launch construction on 15 more. These initiatives are designed to create a stronger cluster of German companies.

Looking ahead, Taicang is committed to developing a world-class service ecosystem for German enterprises. The city will streamline the processes for obtaining work permits and entry visas and other related matters for high-level German talent.
