Taicang earns high praise from German Consul General for dynamic business growth
Taicang, East China's Jiangsu province, is home to over 1,600 foreign-invested enterprises, 150,000 market entities and nearly 30,000 skilled professionals. Every year, it sees a net addition of around 100 industrial enterprises above designated size. The city also leads China in number of high-tech enterprises. In 2024, more than 20,000 foreign nationals moved to Taicang, a year-on-year growth of 51 percent.
Taicang is also a pivotal hub of Sino-German collaboration. In a recent investment promotion conference in Shanghai, Dr. Norbert Riedel, Consul General of Germany in Shanghai, praised the city for its excellent business environment. Click on the video to learn more.
