Taicang advances multiple projects for economic boost in Q1
To achieve a prosperous first quarter of this year, Taicang has embarked on expanding investment through project construction. Several projects in the city made significant progress on Feb 11.

With a total investment of 200 million euros ($2.10 million), the Krones New Campus Project broke ground in Taicang’s high-tech industrial development zone. It is expected to yield an annual output of more than 5 billion yuan ($689.77 million).
Taking advantage of the project's groundbreaking, Taicang will facilitate the integration of "German quality" and "Made in Taicang", enhancing local industrial, innovation, and talent chains.

Suzhou Taicang Lingang Investment Development Group inaugurated its Suning E-commerce Industrial Park in Taicang Port. With a planned total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and occupying 165,000 square meters, the park will house a logistics and trade park in charge of the import and export of goods as well as wholesale and retail trade.
Concurrent with the park's inauguration, JD Logistics' Jiangsu headquarters established its presence in the park. This collaboration is expected to provide a strong impetus to the development of Taicang's modern logistics and trade industry.

The construction of the Taicang Cricket Sports Center, located in Shaxi town, has commenced. Five hundred million yuan will be invested in the project to establish a comprehensive sports venue for professional competitions, training, and public fitness.
Once opened to the public, it will serve as a training hub for China's national cricket team and host domestic and international cricket competitions, athlete training, and summer and winter camps for children.
