Witnessing a burgeoning passion for equestrian sports among the youth in recent years, Taicang is striving to establish a nationwide youth equestrian training base.

With an impressive investment of 150 million yuan ($20.46 million), this state-of-the-art facility boasts outdoor competition arenas, practice fields, an eco-themed park, and leisure amenities.

Dedicated to nurturing young riders, the base is set to host no fewer than 12 events annually and undertake high-level national equestrian competitions at least five times a year. To showcase its young talents on a global stage, the base aims to participate in three international equestrian competitions and five national ones each year.

To promote equestrian culture, the base is poised to organize guided tours, exhibitions, and other promotional activities at least 12 times a year. Leveraging Taicang's cooperation with Germany, the base is expected to foster close ties with European equestrian associations by organizing at least one exchange competition annually.
