Taicang hosted a conference on new-type industrialization on Jan 4, reviewing outstanding achievements over the past year and establishing ambitious objectives for future endeavors.

Over the past year, Taicang has highlighted advanced, intelligent, and green development, fostering deep integration between technological and industrial innovation and accelerating the construction of a modern industry system. As a result, several outstanding enterprises have become Sino-German cooperation demonstration cases.

In alignment with Suzhou's ambition to establish itself as a globally leading "City of Smart Manufacturing", Taicang plans to promote "Taicang Manufacturing, German Quality" in the new year.

The strategy aims to enhance industrial cluster competitiveness, foster bidirectional opening-up and integration, drive technological innovation, bolster enterprise development capability, and promote multi-industry fusion.

Specifically, Taicang has outlined seven key initiatives: industrial cluster development, enterprise nurturing, product iteration and upgrading, digital and green transformation, technological innovation empowerment, collaborative and integrated development, and resource assurance.

Furthermore, Taicang has introduced a comprehensive set of incentive policies to guarantee tangible benefits for enterprises engaged in new-type industrialization, covering output contribution, industrial investment, innovation investment, financial support, and honorary incentives.
