One notable achievement is the gold award secured by Taicang Wuyang Sizhu Orchestra at the third International Jiangnan Sizhu Invitational Competition in 2015, which brought Taicang's efforts to develop this art to global prominence.

Another important initiative is the Jiangnan Sizhu Performance Competition, which has been held 20 times so far in the city. This year, a total of 28 teams participated in the event, showcasing the competition's growing influence and popularity.

Furthermore, Taicang has adopted the use of digital technologies to preserve the art form. By leveraging multimedia platforms, the city strives to promote this cultural treasure in more engaging ways, sparking public interest in heritage preservation.
