The Taicang Rhine-Neckar-Kreis Innovation Center will leverage Germany's talent and industrial resources to focus on the green economy, digital intelligence, and life health industries. The aim is to establish a leading innovation and entrepreneurship platform for emerging industries in Taicang, supporting industrial development and the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
The Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region, located in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, is home to Europe's most significant chemical industrial area and one of Germany's top three life science hubs alongside Munich and Berlin. Taicang and the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region became friendship cities in May 2019.
