This project, a collaboration between Switzerland's Feintool and Germany's SITEC Laser Technology, represents a total investment of 100 million yuan ($14.04 million). Once operational, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 10 million bipolar plates. The new project is expected to double the production value of Feintool's Taicang facility and foster a cluster of related enterprises.
Moreover, this project marks the Feintool Taicang plant as the first in China to comprehensively produce core components for traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles.
Founded in 1959 and headquartered in Lyss, Switzerland, Feintool is a global leader in precision manufacturing. SITEC Group, based in Chemnitz, Germany, excels in automated production equipment and mass production of precision components.
