The opening ceremony of the exhibition "Like Mountains Reaching Clouds ― Works of Song Wenzhi, Song Yulin, and Song Yuming" took place on Sept 10 at the Taicang Celebrities Memorial Museum.

Featuring 78 artworks, including 32 landscape paintings by Song Wenzhi, a renowned artist from Taicang known for his landscape paintings, and 46 works by his sons, Song Yulin and Song Yuming, also artists highly esteemed in contemporary art, the exhibition showcases the artistic inheritance between the two generations.

During the ceremony, Song Yulin and Song Yuming generously donated 29 artworks of Song Wenzhi to the museum, including letters, landscape fan paintings, and Song Wenzhi's final masterpiece, Taihu Lake. Song Yulin will also donate all of his 35 oil paintings and watercolor works on display to the museum.

The exhibition continues until Oct 28.
