Taicang high-tech zone shines at Hannover Messe
The Taicang High-Tech Zone has set up an independent booth at the ongoing Hannover Messe, one of the world's largest industrial trade fairs, to showcase the region's urban profile, industrial cluster, and achievements in Sino-German cooperation.
The booth has garnered attention from global visitors and notable attendees, including Zhai Qian, minister of the economic and commercial office of the Chinese embassy in Germany and representatives from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce.
Zhai expressed appreciation for the Taicang High-Tech Zone's significant achievements in Sino-German cooperation. He pledged continued support for Taicang's efforts to establish a "1+7" investment promotion network in Germany to enhance awareness of cooperation opportunities.
Companies like Schaeffler and Faulhaber, which have invested in the Taicang High-Tech Zone, are also participating in the event to showcase their latest products and technologies.
According to official statistics, the Taicang High-Tech Zone's team in Germany secured over 300 potential booth expansions on the first day of the fair and is actively exploring more collaboration opportunities to strengthen connections with the global market.
The Hannover Messe, focusing on artificial intelligence, carbon neutrality, hydrogen energy, and fuel cells, has attracted around 4,000 exhibitors from 60 countries. The event serves as a vital platform connecting the global technology and business sectors. It will last until April 26.
