Taicang High-Tech Zone underscores the region's commitment to attract significant projects, with three initiatives making it on Jiangsu province's list of major projects for 2024.

These projects boast a total investment of 8.58 billion yuan ($1.19 billion), with an annual planned expenditure of 650 million yuan.

One of them is the facility funded by Yizhao Qixi Biopharmaceutical. It will span 105.6 mu (7.04 hectares) and will focus on new drug research and development, pilot services, contract manufacturing, and inspection and testing services.

The Taicang Sino-German Dual System Vocational Education Project covers an area of 148 mu. It aims to integrate resources from the Sino-German dual education ecosystem and establish the largest German vocational qualification examination and training base in the country.

The Aircraft Icing Safety Experiment Center, sprawling across 300 mu, plans to construct a large-scale vertical icing test facility for conducting safety experiments related to aircraft icing.
