The Taicang bureau of industry and information technology released its list of "little giant" enterprises in Taicang, a city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, for the year 2023, featuring eight companies from the Taicang High-Tech Zone.

The results can be partly attributed to the zone's significant emphasis on nurturing "little giants", which are small enterprises with a focus on specialization and innovation. This effort is seen as a key driver for high-quality development, providing full support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to pursue paths of specialized and innovative development.

Going forward, the zone plans to intensify its support, innovate cultivation measures, and progressively optimize the nurturing environment to further facilitate the development of SMEs.

"Little giants" are small enterprises with strong performance, tremendous growth potential, and in the early stages of valuable cultivation. As standout performers among SMEs, "little giants" play a crucial role in fostering a high-quality ecosystem for small and medium enterprises in a region, contributing to the strengthening and complementing of industrial chains and becoming a vital force supporting high-quality development.
