The Taicang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, located in Taicang, Suzhou, Jiangsu province, has been promoting its industrial development towards sustainability, with local enterprises making progress in adopting environmentally friendly practices.

Among these enterprises is Moog Industrial Controls (Suzhou) Co Ltd, which has recently implemented and put into operation its initial heat recovery system.

As a factory funded by United States-based Moog, a global leader in manufacturing electro-hydraulic servo valves and servo systems, Moog (Suzhou) aligns with its headquarters' commitment to energy-saving.

The heat recovery system produced by the company is especially efficient in saving energy during winter, as it can recycle heat generated by the pump station to provide heating for the factory through its air conditioning system.

According to the company, the system allows for a reduction in energy consumption for the pump station by up to 69 percent, with a minimum saving of over 50 percent.
