Siemens launched its smart park management platform SC Insights X in Taicang Smart Valley Low-Carbon Smart Park in Jiangsu province on Dec 15 as part of the German company's cooperation with the county-level city, which is known as "home to German enterprises in China".

The launching ceremony was held when the Siemens Low-Carbon Digital Innovation Forum was held in Taicang on the same day.  During the event, Siemens also signed a cooperation agreement with Taicang on the building of  the Taicang Aviation and Aerospace Low-Carbon Digital Empowerment Center in the park.

The center is to be Siemens' first digital empowerment platform in the aviation and aerospace field in China. It will comprehensively showcase future manufacturing scenarios with advanced digital technologies. The center will also provide local enterprises with digital exhibition experiences, digital transformation and upgrade services, professional talent training and solution verification.

Addressing the event, Xu, the mayor of Taicang said that relying on German enterprises, Taicang's path to low-carbon development has become firmer, making it a pilot city for the China-Europe green digital innovation cooperation zone.

Lin Bin, Executive Vice President of Siemens Co Ltd China, said that Siemens looks forward to working together with Taicang to actively explore zero-carbon park construction standards and carbon-neutral pathways.
