Completion of QuaTerNes center boosts Taicang's trade and economic growth
The QuaTerNes Group International Food Material Collection and Procession and Sales Center was completed in Taicang, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
QuaTerNes is one of the largest fruit and vegetable processing companies in Europe. Covering 10.13 hectares, or 152 mu, with a construction area of 189,900 square meters, the center boasts a state-of-the-art three-story automated warehouse equipped with advanced European cold chain technology.

Leveraging Taicang's strategic advantages, the center aims to become an environmentally-friendly freight distribution base and a smart logistics platform. It includes specialized facilities for cold chain storage, food processing, and temperature-control, to meet the diverse storage and processing needs of high-quality agricultural products.
Taicang's commitment to developing its trade and economic sector is evident in the push for large-scale projects like this. The city is actively enhancing import capabilities, with a focus on creating influential trading and distribution centers for fruits from Southeast Asian countries, timber from outside China, and other global specialty goods.
