For the eighth time in a row, Taicang has once again claimed the top spot on the list of "China's Happiest County-level Cities". 

The 2023 China's Happiest Cities Forum, hosted by a weekly magazine owned by  Xinhua News Agency in Chengdu, unveiled the rankings, with Taicang securing the title of one of the happiest cities in China for the 12th time in the event's 17-year history and its eighth time leading among county-level cities.

Collaborating closely with Shanghai, the city has integrated quality public services, improving the wellbeing of its residents.
