Construction on a high-quality talent community in Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, has been completed, and applications will open on Aug 30, according to local media reports.

The community, which is located adjacent to a German enterprise industrial park, a bus terminal and two wetland parks, has 12 blocks, providing 613 apartments.

The apartments have various layouts and range from 96 square meters to 129 square meters in size.

They consist of shared and family units and are equipped with home appliances and furniture.

Rents are also quite favorable, averaging 19 yuan ($2.6) per square meter per month.

In addition, a 1,200-square-meter one-stop talent service center, which will offer services related to policy counseling, daily life, and social activities and is equipped with facilities for board games and e-sports, is expected to be put into operation by the end of September in the community.

Those eligible can apply to rent an apartment for up to three years through the "太易居" app.

Taicang has offered 5,408 such apartments and aims to provide 10,000 apartments over the next three years.
