Situated in eastern Taicang and adjacent to the Yangtze River, Fuqiao town has in recent years been ramping up efforts to ensure stable economic growth. Efforts include advancing the integration of port, industries and city, balancing urban and rural development, improving living environments, as well as strengthening social governance.
