Huangjing town

Located in northeastern Taicang, Huangjing town has an 11-kilometer-long coastal line along the Yangtze River.
The 83.55-square-kilometer town, which administers 13 villages and four communities, has a permanent population of 70,000.
The town has in recent years welcomed 22 high-tech enterprises and 34 small and medium-sized innovation enterprises. Efforts to upgrade 110 of its enterprises have increased the output of emerging industries to 40.3 percent of the total. Over the past few years, the research and development expenditures of enterprises above designated size have been more than 470 million yuan ($68.3 million).
The town has also made significant progress in driving technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing.
