Shuangfeng town

Located in western Taicang, Shuangfeng town has a permanent population of 78,000 and covers 62.6 square kilometers.
The town, which has a history of 4,500 years, is home to Liangzhu cultural relics and Maqiao cultural relics.
The town has over the past few years made significant progress in building signature industrial clusters, integrating industries and city, and protecting the ecological environment.
The town is best known for its folk arts like dragon and lion dances, and mutton dishes.
The town has been recognized nationally for its efforts to improve its living environments as well as integrate its culture and tourism sectors.
