Ludu sub-district
Founded on Sept 5, 2019, Ludu sub-district is an administrative area in Taicang High-tech district, East China's Jiangsu province. Its jurisdictional area is about 46.7 square kilometers, with a registered resident population of about 25,000 and a floating resident population of about 350,000. Ludu sub-district consists of six villagers' committees including Ludu, Hengli as well as five residents' committees including Zhujiang and Ludu.
Ludu sub-district, which is close to Shanghai, is the place where Loujiang New Town is located. The sub-district will focus on building four functional areas - a science and technology zone, an international community, an intelligent manufacturing zone, and a high-speed railway business zone.
