Taicang launches 2 institutions to further optimize business environment

Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, unveiled its enterprise service center and talent service center on Oct 12 as part of efforts to improve the city's business environment.
The two centers will provide one-stop government services to enterprises and talents based in the city.
Wang Xiangyuan, Party chief of Taicang, said at the launch ceremony that the local government will implement a series of measures, including improving the professional skills of its staff and increasing service offerings, to provide comprehensive services to enterprises.
The enterprise service center will take steps to streamline the approval procedures, ensure the land use for enterprises, and provide necessary financial support, according to Wang.
The talent service center will also act as a bridge between the government and talents, and provide services like policy counseling.
Several online platforms that will provide easier access to government services were also unveiled at the ceremony.
