The first camping site in Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, was opened to the public on July 29. 

Located in an agricultural park, the 70-mu-camping site offers farming courses, barbecue sites and live performances. The site has about 20 tents for accommodation. 

Visitors can also go kayaking near the camping site. 

Reservations can be made on apps such as Dianping and Meituan. Visitors can also make reservations by calling (86) 13915498686 or texting the WeChat account with the same number. 

Campers should bring a tent, a moisture-proof pad, folding tables and chairs, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent.
