Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, has been making efforts in recent years to cultivate more “little giant” companies.

A “little giant" is a company that is deemed to be profitable and have excellent innovation capabilities, a significant market share, core technologies, as well as high product quality.

The city presently has one national level “little giant”, 30 provincial level ones, 28 municipal level ones and 84 at county level, according to official statistics.

Based in Taicang, Suzhou U-AIR Environmental Technology Co Ltd is one of the provincial-level “little giants”.
