Taicang in Jiangsu province, topped the list of China's happiest county-level cities, according to the Happy Cities of China Forum 2021, which took place in Beijing on Dec 30.

This is the sixth time Taicang has topped the ranking for county-level cities.

Taicang also appeared on the list for "the happiest cities for entrepreneurs" for the first time.

The city has nearly 26,667 hectares of farm land, 38.8 kilometers of riverbank of the Yangtze River and 16,000 hectares of wetland. Taicang's per capita green land areas can reach the world-class standard, and its air quality is among the best in Jiangsu.

As the largest foreign trade port in Jiangsu, the Taicang Port has built up trade connections with more than 160 countries and regions.
