A cyber security event involving officials from Jiading district in Shanghai, Kunshan and Taicang in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, was held on Oct 9 to enhance the coordinated development of cyber security in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The launch ceremony saw the establishment of a Jiading-Kunshan-Taicang cyber security publicity team and the signing of an industry-university-research cooperation deal on intelligent and digital transformation.

This year's national cyber security promotion week will be held from Oct 11 to 17.

During the promotion week, Jiading district, Kunshan and Taicang plan to carry out more than 190 online and offline activities such as exhibitions, forums, knowledge and skill competitions, and public-service advertising to raise awareness of cyber security and encourage the public to participate in the education and promotion of cyber security.
