United States-based motion control products supplier Moog Inc on Aug 25 signed an agreement to operate a precision motion control project in Taicang, Jiangsu province.

With an investment of $30 million, the project will be located in Taicang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone and centered on motion control products related to aerospace and automobile tests.

Local authorities said the signing is a breakthrough for the city's aviation industry. The project is expected to break ground before the end of 2021.

"We selected Taicang for its excellent business environment. Flight control system is one of our core businesses and we hope the cooperation can boost Taicang's aviation industry," said Tao Jun, general manager of Moog Control System (China).
