The Taicang Incubation Center for German SMEs was recently opened in Shanghai.

The center will help Taicang attract more foreign investment and facilitate the incubation of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Jiangsu province's Taicang, a city that borders Shanghai, is at the forefront of China's efforts to boost cooperation with German enterprises.

To date, 387 German companies are investing in Taicang and over 520 local enterprises are cooperating with their German counterparts.

German Centers are meeting points for bilateral business and economic contacts, offering newcomers to the country a variety of possibilities and opportunities for exchanging experiences and working together.

Founded in 2016, the German Center Taicang is a subsidiary of the German Center Shanghai, which is owned by the German state bank Bayerische Landesbank and is part of the worldwide German Center network.
