Krost also participated in various promotional events that helped matchmake German companies with Taicang. In 2019, Krost took a train from Frankfurt just to attend the Germany-Taicang Day in Berlin.

Representatives of many companies said that they have received valuable suggestions from Krost and his team since they arrived in Taicang for investment purposes.

Kristian Ziegenbein, Asia regional operations director of Valeo, remembers Krost as a charismatic, experienced and helpful entrepreneur. He describes Krost as a bridge that promoted mutually beneficial cooperation between Germany and China.
