Inclusion Factory in Taicang, a county-level city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, is the first factory established by a German company in China that employs staff members with disabilities.

The factory now has 35 employees, most of whom are persons with mental disabilities.

Last year, five female employees were selected to be models for a Spanish fashion brand. The factory plans to increase its number of employees to 50 after it recently added more than 900 square meters of office space.

"Our goal is to facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities into society through meaningful employment, high quality vocational training and personal development programs", said Marina Kalnitski, job coach at the company.
