Cinemas in Taicang reopen after six months of closure

According to an announcement from the Jiangsu Film Administration, cinemas in Taicang, Jiangsu province reopened on July 20 under strict epidemic control measures.

On-site ticketing has been suspended and visitors must buy tickets online. All audience members must wear masks, present their health QR codes, and have their temperatures checked before entering the cinema.

In addition, cinemas are not allowed to exceed 30 percent of their maximum capacity. Daily screening times have been reduced by half, and each film must be no more than two hours in length.

China Film Wuyang International Cinema

Address: 3rd floor, Building 1, Binjiang Square, 299 Longjiang Road

Reopening date: July 24

Dadi Digital Cinema

Address: 3rd floor, Wuyang Square, 77 Shanghai East Road

Reopening date: Aug 1

Cleaning and disinfection of major cinemas are carried out regularly, and epidemic prevention equipment has been prepared. Audiences are advised to avoid unnecessary crowding.
