The Jiading district education bureau and the Taicang education bureau signed an education cooperation framework agreement on Sept 23 to implement the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as deepen cross-regional education innovation and cooperation.

According to the agreement, the two sides will take a number of measures, such as holding education forums, building joint schools, and launching exchange platforms, to deepen education cooperation and exchanges to improve education levels.

Yao Wei, director of the Jiading district education bureau, said that in the past year, the two sides have made active and effective explorations and practices in resource sharing, policy sharing, and brand building.

He expressed hope that the two sides can further strengthen precise docking in the field of education, deepen cooperation and exchanges, as well as realize complementary advantages and mutually beneficial development, jointly pushing education to a new level, enhancing the public’s satisfaction with the education offerings in the two places.

Wang Xiaoyun, director of the Taicang education bureau, said that the two sides will further establish and improve cooperation and safeguard mechanisms, push forward the cooperation process, as well as jointly create a new level of education cooperation between the two places.

The delegation from Taicang education bureau also visited two schools in Jiading.
