The foreign investment in Taicang, Jiangsu province registered rapid growth in February, according to local market supervision bureau.

Statistics from Taicang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau showed that in February, five foreign-funded enterprises registered in the city with total registered capital of $8.52 million, year-on-year increases of 25 percent and 235 percent.

Three foreign manufacturing companies in Taicang increased their investment totaling $1.52 million in the same period.
