Rühl Puromer GmbH, a Germany-based supplier of polyurethane (PU) systems, announced the opening of its first Chinese facility in Taicang, Jiangsu province, on Dec 11.

The Rühl Puromer Polyurethane Technology (Taicang) Ltd Co is dedicated to offering its clients in China individually tailored PU systems and instant technical services.

It will ramp up its efforts to develop its business in China based on the new Taicang facility, said Andreas Ruehl, president of Rühl Puromer GmbH, at the opening ceremony.

Before the new company launched, Rühl Puromer GmbH products were mainly exported to the market directly from Germany.

Ruehl revealed at the opening ceremony that their company plans to focus more on the application of its products in China‘s auto industry, as well as on medical devices, energy saving architecture, consumer electronics, and high-end home appliances in the near future.
