A group of 25 journalists from 15 mainstream newspapers visited Taicang from Nov 5 to 6, to better understand the latest achievements of the city in an all-round way.

As a county-level city of Suzhou, Taicang has been attaching great importance to luring talents and developing technological innovation.

Being the Sino-German cooperation model city, Taicang also ranks first among county-level cities in China in terms of its number of German companies, currently over 300.

The group visited several landmarks in Taicang such as Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Kern-Liebers Taichang, a German manufacturing company.
