3. Nanyuan Garden
Nanyuan Garden was built for top government official Wang Xijue in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is a typical traditional Chinese garden with running rivers, pavilions, terraces, and towers. Among the ancient architecture are plum trees and chrysanthemum flowers.
The dazzling array of pink blooming lotus flowers in the summer make for some picturesque photographs.
