The 13th Taicang Oktoberfest is set to take place in Taicang Software Park, Jiangsu province from Aug 28 to Sept 2.

Organized by Taicang Roundtable, this year's Oktoberfest is similar to previous years but with some differences.

German beer and Western food, including roasted beef, Munich white sausage, German-style salad, and roast suckling pig will be prepared for guests as usual. In addition this year, the German band Sakrisch Guat will perform on a round-shaped stage to entertain revelers.

A total of 176 tables, which can sit altogether 1,408 people, have been set for guests and tickets can be booked until Aug 31.

The Taicang Oktoberfest has been held annually since 2006.
