The 2018 Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Equestrian Invitational took place in Taicang on May 26 as part of the 2018 Taicang (China) Tourism Culture Festival.

Some 10 professional equestrians from Jiangsu, Zhejiang provinces and Shanghai were invited to perform for the audience.

The competition also invited Taicang-born Mi Tianyuan, winner of the 2017 International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Jumping Youth, who showcased a wonderful performance.

A parent-child horse showmanship was also organized during the invitational and some 60 families signed up for it to experience such an elegant sport.

The equestrian competition was sponsored by Taicang Tourism Administration, Taicang Sports Bureau and Jiangsu Province Horse Industry Association.

Themed "Savor fresh fishes, Enjoy scenic Taicang", the 2018 Taicang (China) Tourism Culture Festival spans from March 23 to the end of May including 17 tourist activities and eight gourmet activities to entertain the festival-goers.
