The 2018 Taicang (China) Tourism Culture Festival was inaugurated at the city's Liuhe ancient town on March 23, marking the beginning of Taicang Food Festival, according to Taicang Daily.

Themed on "Savor fresh fishes, Enjoy scenic Taicang", the festival is expected to run through the end of May, during which 25 activities, including 17 tourist activities and eight gourmet activities, will be organized to entertain visitors.

Demands of touring countryside, admiring flowers, playing parent-children games, tasting local delicacies and fresh fishes are all satisfied during the festival.

Another important activity – 2018 Taicang (China) International Lawn Music Festival will be held from May 19 to 20 at the city's Jincang Lake Park, as part of 2018 Taicang (China) Tourism Culture Festival.

The annual festival, starting from 2003, has now developed into the most important platform showcasing Taicang's tourism and business industries' achievements over the past year, attracting numerous tourists from home and abroad to the ancient and modern city.
