"Archiving Dreams", a creative activity, was launched by Taicang Municipal Archives on Feb 24, attracting 50 students from the city's 10 middle and primary schools.

Besides preserving important files, the Archives Center can also help you keep your dreams.

"We hope to encourage our students to set up a goal for their lives and strive for it in the near future by organizing this activity," said the head of the archives center.

The students wrote down their dreams and left them in the center after they visited the exhibition hall showcasing the city's history and culture and a Taicang celebrity show.

Shen Yuxi, a first grade pupil, painted out an elegant dancer on her drawing paper. Since she has taken a fancy for dance, she wants to become a dancer when she grows up.

The Taicang Municipal Archives has now organized more than 2,300 middle and primary school pupils to visit its exhibition halls and shows to help them learn more about their hometown and stimulate their passion for learning.
