An incident happened two months after Wang's arrival which made him realize that the important employees at Lhunzhub's transformer substations are inexperienced in dealing with malfunctions.

He then organized a training class to explain the methods of handling malfunctions of various facilities at transformer substations.

Besides, the power grid in the county has consistently been destroyed by natural disasters.

Several utility poles were once submerged in a heavy rainstorm during his stay in the county and the power outage has influenced more than 5,000 households.

After getting the news, Wang and some other colleagues rushed to the scene to fight against the flood. Large machines are not able to access to the area, therefore Wang guided his colleagues to carry the heavy rescue materials on their shoulders to the affected areas.

With everyone's efforts, these 5,000 households were electrified a day ahead of schedule.

Wang Ruiming said that he has been deeply attached to the snow-covered plateau and he cherishes every day in Tibet and will try his best to finish the work he set out for.
