Whether the imposing Potala Palace, enchanting natural landscape or terrible altitude illness, what do you think of when Tibet is mentioned?

For Wang Ruiming, a worker from Taicang power supply company, Tibet was not a holiday destination during his recent trip to the area.

As an electrician, Wang's task is to introduce the advanced technology and experience of Jiangsu Power Grid to Lhunzhub County in the middle of China's Tibet autonomous region.

Wang had made adequate preparations before the trip. He collected all the required documents on power grid's operation and maintenance and brought them to the county.

Lhunzhub has poor natural environment with average elevation of about 4 kilometers and as soon as Wang arrived in the county, he was tormented by altitude illness due to severe oxygen deficit which didn't allow to him to have sound sleep, as he was awakened from time to time.

"I'd normally go for a long walk when I just came to the county," He said. "Although I got out of breath every time, it really helped me quickly get used to the environment."
