She always prepares her desserts with the best ingredients. For example, the chocolate she uses is often much more expensive than that used by other cake shops, costing three or four times as much.

"I just want to make high quality and professional desserts for my customers. Maybe the high prices are not acceptable to many people for now," Lu said. "But, they will eventually be welcomed as people start pursing a life of high quality."

As a matter of fact, the girl is reaping rewards for her persistence. She reached the final of a western-style cake competition, defeating more than 5,000 competitors.

Favored by Chaumet, a luxury jewelry brand from France and Initial, a famous French clothing brand, Lu was invited to arrange dessert tables for their shows.
