Israeli expert shares experience in cross-border technical cooperation

Alon Maharshak, an Israeli expert working at an advisory firm in Jiangsu province, was invited to give a keynote speech on cross-border cooperation at the China-Israel International Sci-Tech Cooperation Seminar in Taicang, Jiangsu province, Taicang Daily reported on Sept 6.

The seminar was organized by Taicang science and technology bureau, and aimed at exploring management practices in successful Israeli companies and ideas for promoting cooperation among enterprises from different countries.

Maharshak is business director of SHENG Enterprises. He graduated from the University of Haifa, Israel, where he majored in geography and environmental studies, before completing an MBA degree from the Israeli College of Management.

During his speech, Maharshak gave an overview of Israel's economy and the state of innovation in the country, and explained how Israel has developed from a turbulent country into a developed one, and from a resource-poor country into a global, high-tech and innovative one.

Maharshak also introduced the representative products and technologies brought by Israel and Israel's attractive investment environment.

The Israeli also discussed cross-border technological cooperation between China and Israel and the achievements made through cross-border investment between the two sides.
