Hila City commercial complex has been the key project of 2016 in Taicang city, Jiangsu province. It has started to attract significant investment since it was launched on Feb 17, Taicang Daily reported.

The commercial complex boasts various geographic advantages. Located in Liuhe Town of Taicang, it is only 30 kilometers from the downtown area of Shanghai, and is also close to Kunshan and Changshu cities of Suzhou. It integrates high-end residential buildings, a one-stop shopping mall, British-style commercial streets with red brick structures, and many other commercial facilities.

Some catering companies and fitness clubs have already settled in the two constructed British-style streets, which are now awaiting more businesses to move in. The whole commercial complex is expected to open in 2018.

Zhou Ting, investment manager of the complex has also announced that a 3,500-square-meters outlet is also to be built here.

The highlight of the project is a shopping mall in Hila City, which includes go-karting, and various amusement parks themed around popular cartoons such as Japanese animations. It will also provide early education for children under the age of eight.

Hila City commercial complex is managed by Guangdong-based real estate giant, Country Garden Group.

The company is one of the top 10 property developers in China and enjoys support from the Taicang and Suzhou governments. It has promised to build this commercial complex into a landmark for Taicang.
