A nursing management and service training was held in Taicang on Aug 24, aimed at improving healthcare forpregnant women and infants, Taicang Daily reported.

More than 120 experts and practitioners in maternal and child health care from 16 regions nationwide took part.

The training was organized by the Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association (CMCHA), and supported by Taicang Kanghui Science and Technology.

The training focused on theory and practice of family-centered maternity care (FCMC), human resource management (HRM) of FCMC and data collection of the quality of nursing management.

The training is also expected to narrow the gap between international and domestic nursing to provide better services for future moms.

A range of obstetric tables manufactured by Kanghui Technology were well received by the experts. The tables are ergonomically designed for mothers so that they are able to have their childbirth in a private room, accompanied by relatives.
