Taicang adds seven more provincial level graduate workstations

An additional seven graduate workstations are to be added to the 2016 Jiangsu Provincial graduate innovative training project, jointly built by Taicang-based enterprises and well-known universities and institutes, Taicang Daily reported recently.

For now Taicang has 62 provincial-level graduate workstations.

An official from the bureau of science and technology of Taicang said that the establishment of enterprise research and development centers and bases including the graduate workstations will help implement the city's strategy of innovation-driven development. He also said that the graduate workstations will contribute to Taicang's desire of becoming a model city in the South Jiangsu National Innovation Demonstration Zone.

The seven new graduate workstations will further advance cooperation between local enterprises with national and provincial-level high-technology laboratories, enhance enterprises' cutting-edge research capabilities, and improve market competitiveness.
